Steps to become a sub for Dumas ISD

Register and submit your Substitute Application
Schedule a personal interview with Phil Guerra on November 6, 2012 in the Personnel Office. Interviews are scheduled 1 - 2 weeks prior to each substitute training session (see dates below). Call 935-6461 for an appointment.
If employment is offered, please have the following items available:
- Valid driver's license
- Social Security Card
- Copy of high school transcript or GED (not required for certified teachers)
- Teacher's certificate (if a certified teacher)
Attend a Substitute Training session. (see below)

Substitute Training

If you have substituted with DISD and have not attended the required emergency training you may call or email Chief Larry Payne at the high school to set up an individual emergency training. His number is 922-4432, or larry.payne@dumas-k12.net.

Upcoming Substitute Training Sessions
November 12, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the DHS Library. An interview and completed paperwork are required before attending the training.

Substitute Interviews - call 935-6461 to schedule an appointment with Mr. Guerra. Please bring your Drivers License and Social Security Card to the interview.
