Charging Policy
Effective August 27,2012, we will begin to implement our new charge policy for the Cafeteria. The system will adhere to the following guidelines:
We will allow up to three charges per student. Following the third charge, if the student does not have money in their account or money in their hands to pay for their meal, the student will be offered an alternative meal of a cheese sandwich and milk.
Lunch prices for 2012-2013 are as follows: Elementary and Intermediate--Free Breakfast and $2.25 for lunch! Junior High and High School--$1.50 for breakfast and $2.50 for lunch. Reduced prices for students are $.30 for breakfast (only at JH & HS) and $.40 for lunch at all schools. All visitor's have a lunch price of $3.25.
Parents or students are allowed to pre-pay money on their accounts before, during, or after lunch. Payments can be made at the register in the cafeteria, the school office, or the administration building as well as online. Please make sure your student has sufficient funds in their accounts. Ala Carte items or seconds may not be charged to negative account balances.

Dumas ISD has now implemented Breakfast in the Classroom in all elementary schools. Breakfast is now available for every student, and the best thing about it is it's FREE!!
Just a reminder, if you haven't already filled out a school lunch application, October 4,2012 is when applications are due. Applications from the previous year will expire at this time. You can pick up an application at any of your children's schools or at the administration building located at corner of West 4th Street and Miller Avenue. |
